Looking for the best vet in Guildford? This guide ranks every vet we found on Google Maps with a Guildford-area postcode, using Google's own star ratings and review counts rather than anyone's opinion.
We found 15 vets with a Guildford postcode (GU1 to GU4), across Guildford town centre, Burpham, Merrow, Stoughton, Onslow Village, Shalford, Worplesdon and Park Barn. For each one we pulled the live Google rating and review count, and the things customers mention most in their reviews. Every number is correct at the time of writing (10 October 2026).
How we ranked them: highest Google star rating first, with ties broken by number of reviews. Places with fewer than 50 reviews go after the rest, because a handful of five-star reviews isn’t a fair comparison with hundreds.

How we ranked them
1. Which places: every vet on Google Maps with a Guildford postcode (GU1 to GU4).
2. Order: Google star rating, highest first, with ties broken by review count. Places with fewer than 50 reviews are listed after the rest.
3. “Mentioned in X reviews”: these counts come from the review topics Google shows on each listing. We haven’t picked or edited them.
4. We don’t quote prices, because they change. Check with the business.
5. Nobody paid to be on this list, and nobody can pay to move up it.
